Default New Roypow owner

I just got a new 51105P battery installed and the dealer told me to put it back on the charger everytime I drive it. I thought you only charged it as needed.

I don't recommend charging every time unless you can only get one round of golf out of a charge. It's better to keep it charged than run it down until it quits though. If you have a decent SOC meter, you can run it down to 30% or so before recharging.

I'm not sure what Roypow recommends, but ECO Battery recommends topping the battery off regularly. They explained ten - 10% charges are the same as one - 100% charge equaling one life cycle.

I think it is good sense to recharge only when below 80% SOC, however.
