Default 89 gas ez go problem

hey everyone, i just bought an 89 ez go golf cart! i dont know much about them. Well my problem is that i have to choke the cart before it will turn the wheels. it idles fine and occasionally i dont have to pull choke. any ideas will help.

check your fuel system starting with the filter, then remove the line at the carb. crank it over and you should see fuel pumping from the hose. Remove carb and clean it out thoroughly.

You probably need new crank seals

well i looked at it alittle closer. i tightened the belt off the starter and adjusted the throttle and choke cable. runs pretty smooth now but i still need to replace the primary belt and it should run great!! thanks for the help
