Is the steering box mounted on the front axle or up on the body? 2001 was the change year.

The 350 uses the straight one. The bent one is supposed to be a 94 up 295. Which one fits yours?

Where did you buy the new dip stick from? Here is the page from my Shop EZGO site. Both engines use the SAME dip stick...

You need OEM no. 72538G01. That is the straight 350 dipstick. The old 350 and MCI 350 use those.
My book is '07 and it has the bent stick also. it says '94 and up 295. It's p/n is 26593G01. You probably have a 350 motor in it. I have an older and new 350 and they use the same straight stick. The bent one does exist. What's your description for that number say, Mike?

26593G01 - says bent dipstick in my parts program for the 295. Doesn't give me a year or any variables...

I have a hard time believing that this MPT / Workhorse has a 295cc in it. I always thought they had a 350cc?

I think it is a 350. If it went to a shop like mine it could have the wrong plate on it! They all fit. I don't think you can see the lower stamp while the motor is in. There are no other external differences that I know of. One of those things...
If he really needed to know I suppose he could measure the stroke. That, I think, is different. The 350 has 60 or 61mm stroke.
I can't understand how the same block uses a different dipstick. Unless one of the two uses a larger crankshaft the oil levels would be the same. Doesn't make sense to me
I'll recheck mine tomorow. I have both 350's, but no 295. There are mistakes in the manuals and stuff sometimes. Maybe that's it??
