i have spark and fuel but wont go

i adjusted my valves which did not need to be adjusted and checked my compression and each cylinder is at 185 and then i used a whole can of carb cleaner and took the carb completly apart and got it cleaned out and it still wont fire off on its own i can get it to fire by spraying carb cleaner in the carb but not on its own fuel. the fuel pump works great i am just stumped on what is wrong?

ITS alive my float was bent and fixed it and now its runnig!

I am no expert but I had a similar issue turned out to be the timing belt was broken. Might be worth checking.

its running good i just need a new muffler now for some reason there is ALOT of oil in there and i pulled it off and ran it with no exhaust and there was no oil comming out of it so it must have been from the last owner something he had done to it

I'm starting to get the whole picture by reading both of your threads ....... why are you doing that? Why not keep it all on one thread so we can follow what is going on with this one cart!?
