Drive clutch not fully closing on Workhorse
My drive belt will not go all the way to the top of the drive clutch when operating at full throttle,it stops with at least an inch (of clutch face) to spare.I would appreciate any help in finding the cure.
Thanks,Johnny |

Re: Drive clutch not fully closing on Workhorse
Do you have the stock belt on it?
Could it be old and very stretched out? How loose is it when the cart is shut off? Is the driven (rear) clutch opening all the way? |

Re: Drive clutch not fully closing on Workhorse
It has been awhile since i had my stock clutch and belt on there lets see what MMT or other members have to say.... I don't think the belt rides all the way to the top like it does in the rear but, 1 inch down sounds like a lot of unused face....

Re: Drive clutch not fully closing on Workhorse
If you take the belt off - can you fully compress the clutch by hand? The clutches work in unison - you could have a stuck secondary clutch?
