Re: need help with brake lights
Another option would be using a switch off the rear of just about any motorcycle( compact, easy to mount, weatherproof)

Re: need help with brake lights
ok that really looks good. first question is were do i run the wires to if i hooked something like this up? next how do you get the brake lights to not stay on when the parking brake or hill brake is set? sorry if these r dumb questions iam no electircian. still learning all the ways around my cart. also would i ask for a brake light switch for a 1950 pick up, or can i just tell them what iam tryting to do. thanks for all the help with all this stuff. this is what stands between me and the fun times i could be having on my cart.

Re: need help with brake lights
ok their is no extra wires in it. can i just run a switch to my brake pedal and drill it in the pedal its self then run some type of light to the inside of my lights so when the switch is depressed it will light the lights up.this was my thoughts, please remember iam no electrical guru. here is a couple of pictures that i thought i could use. i already have this switch would just have to wire it up and get some light was thinking these led lights inside my taillights.
also if this would work how do i wire into the switch. thanks for all the help andy |
