YES! Big controllers won't deliver speed on a series cart, thay just allow the amps to the motor instead of restricting it. Series carts want VOLTAGE to spin the motor at a higher RPM. The 22" tires and HS gears are gonna draw HUGE amps.

what Gornoman means is generally speaking amps = torque and voltage = speed. In your case you are going to need both

Yeah that's what I'm talking about. Plenty of amps (all you got) to drive that big motor and turn those big tires ...
