Precedent Rear Shock???
Hey,
So I ordered two replacement rear shocks for my precedent and this is what I got from 3R... Photos attached (photo comparing old and new) Obviously they are not the same.. if i'm not mistaken the larger diameter is the top part of the shock right?.. when i fit them up to the top mount the shock rubs the back end of the mount. (photo) This won't allow the lower stud to line up (photo1) When I flip the shock the top has clearance and everything lines up (photo2 and photo3).. Does the rear sock really go in this way or is it just the wrong shock all together.. idk.. i would think that the larger diameter part will fill with water... What do you guys think? |

Re: Precedent Rear Shock???
You are correct and unless they have 50/50 valving, they will not react properly upside down. Call 3R and see what they can do for you.
