This is the Ezgo section but, since your neon lights are not cart manufacture specific we can answer the question here.

You need to wire the lights in parallel to a 12v source. Each light needs a positive and a negative from a 12v source.

For explanation purposes lets say each one of your lights have a red wire and a black wire. To connect it you would connect the red wire to 12v positive and the blk wire to 12v negative.
To connect 2 or more lights you simply connect all of the red wires to 12v positive and all of the blk wires to 12v negative.

Run either the positive or the negative thru a light switch of HD toggle ... interrupt either leg of the circuit and it does not work....until your switch remakes the connection.

Could i run the positive wire off each light to the switch and from the switch to the battery. The nenegative off each light goes where to the switch to battery , to negative ground.

That's in and out, so just imagine you connect all the wires and the lights are on ALL the time.... the switch is an interrupter, so cut either supply wire and splice the switch in line. Make sense?

All the negatives should go to the battery there is no negative on the switch unless the switch has a on off light.
Run the positives from the lights to the switch and then the other side of switch to the battery.

FYI LED's use less power and last longer.

How many connections does the switch you are using have? 2 or 3?
