Default Govenor & over rev

I installed a high speed govenor in my G2, if i run it hard the engine will on occasion cut out like rev limiter. Is this what is happening and if so how ist it controlled. I don't want to over rev and blow it up. or am I looking at another issue?

As I understand, the G2 has an electronic rev limiter in the ignition module. Can't get around it. If there is a negative thing about the G2, that would probably be it!

Might want to take the primary clutch cover off and check for a broken or loose weights. Most likley the rev limiter tough.

They do, you can convert to G9 ignitor with some changes but they are not cheap. It does not go much faster without far as I can tell. I can gps 30 on pavement with it screaming on 22s with 12-15psi in rears, or 28 on dirt drive, both flat. Check my video I always gps 28mph here before I turn around. I have another G9 there with the governor on it just turned up all the way and it does 27 on dirt or pavement, or well it did now it has a clone and runs about even with mine but gets there way faster.

The clone cart, he hit the gas when I was turning the camera on, about a second before the video started. I hit it soon as he moved but he dusts me really bad lol.
