resetting speed controller 04 IQ
is there any way to reset speed controller on club car IQ unit...i just purchased a 2004 and top speed is about 8 mph...i'm sure that it goes faster...if anyone has had problems with a simular unit, please advise what you did to solve your issue...

If you are only getting 8 mph, you may have other issues . . . however, your local CC dealer is the only one who can reprogram the controller for other than stock speed setting, which should be code 3 and about 14mph . . . code 4 gets about 19 mph at a cost of about $100+, depending on your location . . .

Actually there are 3 settings as well as a Private Mode #4 that you'd have to purchase from a CC dealer.
The three settings are shown below and can be changed by a CC dealer as well without purchasing a Private Mode. They may still charge you for their time to do the change. |
