stevec I used the factory wires that are there for an upgraded meter. see the wiring diagram in the sticky. Yes the meter stays on all the time and I don't see much of a battery drop to worry about. This is a scottyB meter. There should be a black/white striped wire and a red wire at least on the 2005 precedent.

The lower meter which measures my pack voltage is getting its 48v supply from the factory wiring. They both receive their 12v trigger voltage from the output of the converter and the upper displays the output voltage from the converter. I have four times the wiring in the dash now than what was there factory and everything works in harmony. That is just the dash, between the batteries, under the cart and in the roof there is even more.

I can't use those, as they only show 12 volts since my converter was introduced. They did show 48 volts before I installed the converter.

Sorry ERICT I guess it wasn't a sticky here is the wiring diagram that shows the optional battery indicator wires.

Thank you. You mention a black/white striped wire? Looking at the diagram, did you mean black/yellow?
