Steering & suspension
Sunday, drove my stock 97 CC DS 48v up to the club for a round of golf. I was amazed at how much difference there was btw the steering and suspension btw my cart and the newer model EZ-GO CARTS at the club. Mainly, the ease in turning the steering wheel (felt almost like power steering) and the overall comfort of the ride. These ez-go's are nothing fancy, they seem like refurbished, gently used carts. Currently my 97 CC is stock w 8" rims and most likely all original suspension and steering. Is it possible to refurbish steering and suspension to make it drive w ease and where do I start. Also would like to lift it minimally to get rid of the squat look of the 97 CC. Need ideas please. peace be w you.

Re: Steering & suspension
Get yourself a grease gun and lube up the front end. I've shown three grease fittings to look for on the front right side. Similar setup on the right.

Re: Steering & suspension
Also, check your air pressure in the front tires. Low pressure can cause sluggish steering..............
