Re: Pot box or v glide?
talk with scotty he has them................hardest part for me was mounting location i didn,t want it hanging down under the frame which would have made it easy so i ended up heating and putting a few custom bends in the acell. rod then with a little tweaking its steak sauce..........................

Re: Pot box or v glide?
a continuously variable pot, like the pb6, is WAAAY better than the multistep v-glide! with a little grinding & drilling on the potbox, the pb6 can be mounted inside the frame with a 1:1 throw with no modifications to the pedal or linkage. this is the best picture of my install that i have at the moment...
converting the pb6 to 5k-0 is easy if you can solder. -sj |

Re: Pot box or v glide?
A pot box has one weakness. It does not take water well at all. For this reason I mount them as high as I can. If you are mechanical a simple bell crank and some linkage is more fun than chore
Whatever you do, test test test .... connect an ohms meter so you can read it as you drive. IF the signal doesn't blip or drop out as your cart does than this is not needed. I hate to see you throw any more new parts at this... That's what I would try next based on our conversation... on the phone. |

Re: Pot box or v glide?
Does it jerk randomly, or does it jerk at the same spot everytime? In other words, is there a certain spot in the go pedal travel range that it does it every time? Like mabye about 3/4 throttle.

Sonicj, Where does the black and white wire go to. Do you just use the 2 wires?

Re: Pot box or v glide?
Did you test the V-Glide signal? If so, what test did you use and can you do that test while driving the cart to see if the signal is fluctuating as you drive?
