Default Series, DS,IQ,Regen??

Hey fellas, new to the forum and new to Golf Cart ownership! Well my lovely mother-in-law just GAVE me an electric Club Car, its a nice green color with S/S chrome hub caps some big knobby tires and a healthy lift kit, i love this thing!! I just dont know much about it, the serial no. is A0006-869611. From my findings all i can come up with is that its an early 2000. Any additional info would be great, thanks.

Great info thanks! Now are DS/series carts any good? do they take well to mods? or are they the red headed step children of the Golf Cart community? thanks.

Amongst their owners (me included)Series carts are the best. Like red headed step children they are simple and slow but also reliable. They can take mods from slapping in a 36v motor for speed to upgraded motors, speed controllers etc for torque and speed plus the usual lift kits etc. viva la series
