Question Need help!

Most of you know I'm a EZGO guy but...I bought a IQ cart and I need some help.

Here is what I have guy's.

I tried everything I knew to getter going no luck. The first thing I found wrong was the #1 solenoid was broke the whole bottom of it had come out of it. Had the motor almost off and bam. Terminal cracked off well almost. Dang, Guess it's time for a PQ build again. The speed senor wires were pulled out of the connector at the controller as well they were to short for the lift and I guess jerked out while riding it. The F-2 cables was short to so that's when I decided to swap it. Oh well.

My big ? is what other than the controller and motor would I have to change to turn it into a series cart. F/R contactor I have also. Can the throttle on the gas pedal be used to run it?
The cart:

WOW thanks for reminding me why my preference is Ezgo, too

Yes, the throttle input device is an MCOR which is just a 5k-0 pot in a box. Same throttle position indicator device for both series and regen carts... Just like the Ezgo ITS that works for regen and series carts.

Good luck with this one. What's your plans?

Wink Re: Need help!

I have a new 48 volt 400amp programable 4844 old sytle Alltrax for a EZGO ITS cart. I should be able to swap it over to 5k-0 right.
I have another old C/C series motor just stock but works. Take and put them in this cart and have a normal DS C/C right. Get it running then send the motor to PQ. My duaghter is wanting it for the CAW ride in March.
I have all kinds of spare parts with nothing to do with them so I thought why not!
I'll take the IQ controller to PQ also and have Carson check it with his new machine.
If I'm thinking right and reading these schematics right it should work.

You can man it up a lil and do pink camo If my series cart didn't have that vglide in it. I would probably switch that stuff over to my dads cart

There is nothing wrong with a v-glide as long as you stay 48 volts! There a pretty good system just don't like a lot of juice!

She might be ok with red if you add a lot of white to the red before it gets sprayed
