95 36V Club Car only works in reverse

I take its the Black and White wire at the controller box. These 2 wires come out of the accelerator. There is continuity at these wires when throttle isn't applied, but when I apply throttle it loses continuity?

The signal is measured in ohms resistance. It should be 0-5k ohms for that yr cart.

Thanks they are the ones I tried which has continuity when no throttle is applid and then no continuity or reading when throttle is applied.

Again, you need to measure the resistance in ohms thru the throttle travel to determine if you are getting the proper input signal. Consult the manual for your DMM.
