Convert
I have a 81 5 solenoid cart 36 v and I want to put everything from a 94 ds cart 48 v in to the 81 except the motor to keep it a 36 v is that possible because the 81 electricals are bad but the cart is a cool rolls Royce looking one Please help me with any info mahalo from 808HAWAII ALOHA

yes you can swap everything over but if your using a 1994 cart its not a 48 volt cart they didn,t start until 1995 but you can use the 95 stuff also.......if it a 94 your still gonna be at 36 volt so you might want to check it out.....................

Changed every thing over and I only get a click from the solenoid

I somehow missed your first post. Personally, I would have put the RR body on the newer cart! Parts will be much easier to find and you'll have wiring diagrams for it too.

Can you post ALL the information printed on the controller you have?
Did the 48v cart run? IF not when did it run last? And what diagram (if any) are you using to wire up the ignition system? |

I think it would surely be easier to change electronics than the body
SO long as he has 48v drive components and batteries and charger ..... this should work just fine and give him 25-30% increase in speed and torque. Depending upon the condition of the motor & the weight of the custom cart, etc. |
