36 volt

[Under-Dog]

Have a 36 volt club car
Was doing a rebuild did the wiring and put it all back together and it worked and now it quit won't go
All the coils click on but wont move

don't know what type of cart you have "resistor coils or controller".....

where ever you have a mechanical action...... you will eventually have an electrical defect.


you did say it worked after rebuild so we are assuming you wired correctly....
just curious how long after re-build did it stop...


just because your solenoids click doesn't mean they are making internal contact.

i would jack up the rear tires off ground for testing and to be safe.

disconnect the "HEAVY" wires from each solenoid one at at time and test for continunity after hearing the click when you press the gas pedal

i would also disconnect the wires from the terminals of the motor and check the motor for continunity....

if you mean all the solenoids click how many do you hear? should hear 5 starting with the furthest left one thats the master and if its not working cart isn,t going to work...............did it work before you worked on and and not after? is that what your saying? if so you need to go over everything you did.........................................

you are not testing for voltage ..you are testing for continunity with an "OHM" meter

pick a solenoid.... the one closest to the driver side....remove the heavy wires (TWO) activate the gas pedal and test for a "CLOSED" circuit (continunity) between these large terminals.

BE SURE TO LIFT THE CARTS REAR WHEELS OFF THE GROUND FIRST...just in case the motor starts unexpectly
