Now that we are done with the complete dissection and destruction of the use of THHN wire, does anyone have any comments on the corrosion prevention methods I used? i.e. Dielectric grease trapped inside a closed end lug with a liquid rubber dip to seal the whole wire connection.

Since I degreased the surface before dipping each joint in the liquid rubber, I tried testing the seal by peeling the rubber away. It took a knife so I think we are dealing with a pretty good corrosion seal.

At the motor connections (due to axle movement fatigue) I added double heavy duty shrink wrap over top the sealed lugs as a strain relief. With a big sweeping "S" in my cable at that same axle, I am hoping not to have any metal fatigue due to high axle movement. The 6 ga. factory wires I removed were fatiqued and breaking at that same motor lug. That is why I added the sweeping "S" to the cable and extra strain relief.

There, have at it, I can take it...............
