Gear Ratio
Is there a way to check what rear gear I have in my cart short of taking it all apart?
I bought the cart used and the guy said he put a speed gear in it. I would like to know for sure what gear is in it before I get a standard gear, take it apart and end up finding out that I have a stock one... I was thinking I could put the buggie on jacks, pull the motor out, turn the drive shaft one full turn and then see how much the tires turn? Would that work? |
