Wheels and tires
As a new CC Precedent owner, 2009 model I am wanting to put larger tires but don't really want to put a jack up kit on. I currently have the standard factory tires and was wondering if anyone knows how large I can go width and height wise without changing everything around. If this question has been asked before, please excuse my ignorance as I am still finding my way around this site.

Re: Wheels and tires
10" without an issue. There are some 12" wheels that will work but you need to check beforehand. Your stock wheels are 8".

Re: Wheels and tires
I thought they were 8, but hated to say that not being sure. Are you saying 12's depending on the type of tire?

Re: Wheels and tires
I have Fairway Alloys Sixer 12" rims with 225/35/12 EFX Lo-Pro tires on my 2008 Precedent. The offset is -40mm. The problem is in a hard right turn the tire rubs on the wire channel which protrudes into the wheel well. My fix was take a dremel and cut off the external channel hump. An internal hump remains to protect the wires. Easy, easy fix.
I can't post pics with my iPad, so PM me your email and I can send a couple pics of my cart. |

Re: Wheels and tires
Erict or anyone with these itp wheels/tires
I just ordered the same wheels and tires that you have from 3r sales and service. I have an 08 club car electric. Lady there said the tires may stick out a little bit. Is your set up 3+4 offset and 205 50 10 tires? She said they may rub a little when you turn. Does yours stick out or rub at all? I really like the way yours looks! thanks for any info! |
