Default 36v vglide series charge for days

installed new batts last yr and a new computor under the seat with all new bigger cables, used to the charger would cut off by morning after being plugged in all night, now it never cuts off charger stays at about 1-2 amps but for days, cked batts and cables, dig volt gauge shows 36.30 when i plug it in and in the 40s after several hrs, can charger cause this somehow?

1. Test the specific gravity in all battery cells . . only need one bad one . .
2. OBC may be faulty.
3. Do you have access to another cart to try your charger on?
4. Do you have access to another charger to try on your cart?

yes, ill see if i can borrow another charger at the camp this weekend to use and ill let you know what it does.

What is the highest voltage you read while on charge? The charger cut off is between 44-46v. If the pack is not reaching this voltage there may be a battery problem.

ill go look tmrow while there and see but one time it did show around 47 on meter after days on charge.

after a full day of charging it shows 45.5 on the meter, unplug and after a few mins falls to 41, plug it back in and climbs back to 45.5 fast, charger shows needle right at 1-2. ill try a diff charger this weekend

after charged for 2 days let sit for 2 more days and meter shows 37.5 charger left unpluged 2 days, water full every cell, still trying to get another charger to try see if it cuts off after a day.

37.5V is only 80% charged. I'd check all your individual battery voltages. Like " scottyb " said, you may have a bad battery. Let us know what the individual battery voltages are before you charge the cart.

i thought thats what we wanted to see after letting sit no charge was 37-39 on the meter
