Default PDS and DCS motor differences

Anyone know what the electrical differences are between a DCS and PDS motor ? I know that Alltrax has a different mapping for each but wondered what the differences were..

Default Re: PDS and DCS motor differences

Just a guess, but DCS motor has more torque and a PDS motor has more speed, so I suspect the field windings in the DCS motor has more turns of wire in the coil than the PDS motor.

Sounds like a good question for PQ and/or D&D.
