Wiper board sparkes and smokes
I'm trying to help a friend with a 86 ezgo marathon. He replaced the solenoid,Now the wiper board gets mega hot and sparkes and smokes when petal is pushed. the solenoid is not clicking.It does this with key on or off. Cart moves when f/r is engaged, wires from board to coil look they had gotten very hot before. I have been trying to help with little knowledge that I have picked up reading this site. He got the cart for nothing.,and it ran good for two months. He a great guy ,just trying to help. Any suggestions ??

Replace the wiper board and the sweeping contact. They are wear items and the cart is 25 - 30 years old
