Good day to all,

What exactly are the two gears to change?

Any advice?

Thanks

I put on hold to install high speed gear, perhaps in the future. In fact, I have no idea what would it be when we are 4 on the cart... I am still hesitating to order such a set to have to install the original back after a while. Are there any members who install it on a G9 or G16 with folding back seats? what is the reaction when there are people behind?

In Asia, our Yamaha units are the Japanese versions which are quite different from the ones made in USA; almost always 4 seater even some of them with automatic/remote control of operations.

My model is the G15A which has no automatic/remote control, by chance... It is a sort of mix of a G9/G11/G16 with some special parts (shocks, etc...). I found the way to obtain the part catalogs; they are in Japanese but it is ok using Google Translator which I save... little by little, pages are translated depending of my needs of reading. At least having the right part number is so valuable (mandatory)!!!

Concerning the high speed gear, my transmission is the exact same as the G11-A (utility). I am not sure it exists for this model but I could order a set for the G9-A and have the center hole of the main gear increased in a metal shop; the small one is ok.

One member here did it (thread)

Which model (serial number) do you have?
