Tried the orange wire spark test, wired around all the plastic connectors, coil is new ... no luck yet.
Any ideas.
His diagram is backwards. Look at the one I created instead its easier to follow

Hello. I am new to this forum, and noticed you had some idea on how to modify a Chrysler ignitor to use in the Yamaha G2 golf car. I just purchased one, and it purrs like a kitten now (took it to a great shop that tuned it) and he told me that the ignitor is bad. Would you mind sharing with me what is required to install the Chrysler one, or at least direct me to the link? I would love to try this. Have worked on vehicles all my life (59yrs) and really want to fix this. Thank you in advance.

If it purrs like a kitten why would you believe the ignitor to be bad? If the ignitor was bad it would not run.

Hello everyone. i have a G2 Yamaha gas cart with what i think is a fried igniter, no spark even with new coil and plug, i was wondering if someone might know the part number or basically any info on using the Chrysler igniter, like how to wire it and possible a part number please.
