Yamaha g2 charging problem SOLVED!
Thanks to all who tried to help.
Turned out to be a bad starter/generator even though it tested good per procedure for grounds and 5 ohms at "green" wire. Hard to believe the poor quality control to send out a bad generator. Luckily the supplied agreed to refund my $$$ and don't even have to send it back (which is good cause I'd have to pay return shipping) Oh well, thank again. 15.5 volts and all it well |

Glad you fixed it. Sometimes those aftermarket starter/gens are funky.

The 2 wires that come off the Starter Generator. Where do they go? I recently got a G2/9 Yamaha golf cart and have Hooke up the two wires. The green on to ground and the red to the rectifier.
