Re: limited slip g9?
You have seen the Phantom Grip for cars haven't you?
http://www.phantomgrip.com/ I don't see why any competent machinist couldn't "duplicate" this on a smaller scale to work on the Yamaha diff's. I would mind having one myself. All it does is add spring pressure to "load" the spider gears in the diff, essentially creating a locking diff. I know of a buddy that ran one in his Honda that he use to race (not my first choice for car or for diff) but a cheap option. |

Re: limited slip g9?
Anyone have a diff assembly just sitting that could be used to design one from? I am sure I could draw it up and I have a top notch machine shop at my finger tips.

Re: limited slip g9?
Xtreme Fartz has a few EZGO differentials lying around. You may be able to buy one of those.

Re: limited slip g9?
I am located in the Charlotte, NC area. I have already spoken to one of my guys about the idea and once I have an assembly to design from, I can get it into a dxf format and a prototype unit made. Whoever donates a rear end will be the one to get to the first one made. How many cars share the same rear trans / diff unit as the G2/G9's (be it Yamaha or other...)?
