2010 MPT 800 Wheel and tire size

Hi guys, I have a gas 2010 MPT 800 that I am rebuilding and would like to add a bit of clearance to. It was a maintenance cart before I picked it up and it is currently sitting on stock 18x8.5x8. I'd like to put 22x11x10 wheels and tires and give it the look of an ST Sport. I read that the ST Sport has a factory 2" lift and was wondering if anyone has added a small lift on these MPT 800's that would give me the clearance I'm looking for to fit that size wheel and tire. I added a few pictures of the current setup.

Only by moving the springs to the top of the axles.

Buy a 4" kit, you won't be sorry.

Agree. Buy a 4” kit and be done with it. Ezgo lifts are cheap, not worth trying to reinvent the wheel

Agree, get the lift. That cart is super easy to work on, should be a straight forward project. 22" tires will change things drastically. Just be careful not to get the wrong tire for your main use of the cart. Tire choice is critical.
