Gas/Oil Ratio
My brothers and I purchased a golf cart for my handicapped parents to be able to roam their property..well my uncle is now working on it and he needs help.
Harley Davidson (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) Serial: 3B21275H6 Can you get me a link for more info on this golf cart? O&M and part books would be great. But right now the main question is what is the gas/oil ratio? |

Re: Gas/Oil Ratio
If you need parts I can still get you some, but they are getting slim. The ratio from what we use is a 2/1, 2 ounces to a gallon.

Re: Gas/Oil Ratio
Welcome. You can try 'Vintagegolfcarts.com' or post in the wanted section for used parts. There still are a lot of those carts out there in various condition from restored to parts carts. Best to find an ID plate and identify the year and model first. Good luck.

Re: Gas/Oil Ratio
There are a lot of parts available for the older HD carts. I have a 1976 D model HD and it is fantastic. Runs great and my grand kid's love it. I bought mine for $35.00 with a lot of extra body and frame parts. It still does not look very good but no one seems to care. Harley recommends 1 1/2 ounces of good quality 2 cycle oil to 1 gallon of gas (I use Wal mart tech 2000) It is quality certified TW-3C. I think those are the numbers! I have about $600.00 in it now and I did all the work and it is mechanically excellent and runs 18 MPH solo. You can get service manuals at almost any vintage parts supplier or E-Bay.
Good luck with the cart all of the forum members will be glad to help you when you need it! |
