It's not the only option, just a very good one. You may want to look at the "parts for sale" section, maybe someone is upgrading to a big block and has good used parts for sale. Just an Idea. Where are you located? I usually have some cores that can be rebuilt. The expense is all the little stuff and you could spend more on all of it compared to CPP's kits. Good luck my freind! Remember....The cheapest option, in the long run, is useually more exspensive.

how serious are you on sticking with the stock motor? I have thought about upgrading my G9 also. If I sold it would be a complete running setup with clutch, intake , exhaust

i will have a motor complete with clutch & exhaust within a day or 2 as soon as i get my big block installed i,m more interested in doing some trading but all options are open let me know what you got in mind give me a pm if interested and mayby a # and i,ll give you a call

hmm I found a 23hp briggs with ARC long rods and shaved pistons this week so I am really tempted. REALLY REALLY tempted- have to figure out how to hide it from the wife
