Post Really Could Use Some Help with Ignition

97 4/cycle Ezgo 2 cyclinder engine. Cart wouldn’t start found only had spark when I release the pedal. Replaced the Igniter and I now have spark when I first press the pedal and a weaker spark right when I release the pedal. Coil ohms out at 16.6K and 3.6 ohms
Pulser ohms out at 12 ohms also when turning it over I get about.3VAC
Looking at the flywheel I don’t see a magnet. The only thing I see is a square cutout about 1/4” width. Anyone have any advice? I’m about to pull my hair out.
Oh also I sprayed a little starting fluid in the carb and it fired one time. I don’t have the gas line connected. Just using a inline spark tester.
Thanks Keith
