i60L finally selected and on order
Finally settled on a dealer with reasonable pricing and experience with the RoyPow S51105P battery. This is the 'performance' version of the S51105 and has much higher and longer max discharge rates compared the regular unit. They have installed 8 of them on 4 and 6 passenger lifted carts to customers in very hilly area with no issues.
So now the waiting game begins. All the S51105P batteries are on a container somewhere off west coast with no eta. I called RoyPow NA and they said they have the units but can't get them as they are waiting to offload. The carts themselves are also a black hole. None of the dealers I talked to can say what they are getting or when. They get a call from ICON when the carts are in and ready to pick up. Before that they don't know how many they are getting, which variety or which colors. I heard this from half dozen different dealers. Bit frustrating but happy that we've settled on a cart and a dealer. |

We have 97 containers coming in for the month of November, we should be able to start getting caught up on past orders that were severely delayed due to the situation in China with Covid, as well as the situation with vessels on the water being delayed due to clogged ports! Definitely stay in touch with your dealer consistently once a week checking in on your cart and a status update and your dealer should know that they can always reach out to the factory to get an updated timeframe on their cart! Being completely transparent we have orders timing around 4 to 5 months currently but try to backfill inventory as soon as we get it in. Typically once the containers come in we build the carts and ship them right back out within five days. |

Re: i60L finally selected and on order
They had a dealer portal that got deleted (iconevportal.com), but dealers used to be able to see the order/cart status there. Apparently they had a web developer who was disgruntled or ICON/him didn't agree on payment terms or something and he just deleted the whole thing...that caused all the dealers to suddenly just be in the dark.

Dealer received a batch of S51105P batteries late last week. Or at least one with my name on it
Now just waiting for them to get the cart. Hopefully not too much longer but who knows. |
