Default How to adjust trottle speed

Just recently picked up my first cart (98 Club Car DS) and would like to know how do you adjust the trottle since this cart has some serious intial get up and go when you step on the gas pedal. I would rather have a more gradual speed up vs. spinning the tires. I appriciate any tips someone may have on this matter. Thanks in advance.

Little black box under seat on driver side.Take the lid off. The cable in the rear loosen the two nuts and push the cable to the inside until you get it to where you want it .

HI Dragula, thanks for the tip. Sorry for taking so long to respond back. The trottle adjustment did not work and tried multiple times. it ended up being the trottle plate was stuck wide open and had to get the carb fixed. I will be more diligent about replying quicker to when people take their time to help others in need. LW
