Are you sure it’s a 1987? With the flat head KF82 engine? If that’s correct, you’re doing good if you’ve got 100psi

If the year is wrong and you have the newer fe290 or fe350 then I’d expect 165-170 to be good

If it is key start fe350 then it has auto compression release, and 50-60psi is good.

I have to be sure because I’m not sure exactly when they started making the carryall but 1987 seems a bit old to me

Do you have a 1987, 1997, or both????

Here's a thread to help you decide what you have...

https://www.buggiesgonewild.com/showthread.php?t=12012

The KF82 in the earlier carts was a "flathead" or "side valve" engine, valves were in the block alongside the cylinder, and the cylinder was vertical.

The newer FE290 and FE350 engines are of the "overhead valve" design, valves are in the head above the cylinder, and have a tin cover over the rocker arms on top of the head, and the cylinder is at an angle towards the front of the cart.

Either way, if you are in Wisconsin, in this current DEEP FREEZE, then your battery may need a recharge.

If it’s a 1987 I’d expect to see around 100psi
