![]() I am a new cart owner, a rebuilt 2006 model EZ GO TXT (non PDS). It came with a 2004 Textron Powerwise Charger. I presume that you cannot "overcharge" the batteries with this charger since it shuts off automatically. But once it shuts off and if the plug is removed & reinstalled right away, the charger turns back on, the ampmeter goes to 20amps and it stays on for awhile. I thought that the charger automatically turns off when the batteries are fully charged and doesn't turn on if the batteries are fully charged. Is this normal?
