LCD battery indicator

Weird!!!
So the lcd batt. gauge his hooked up and appeared to be working. The bar got smaller as I used the cart...it's working. Now after a full charge batt. gauge has not moved? Still in the middle as it was prior to charging? Disconnected the nuetral, trying to maybe reset it...but nothing. Anyone know what's going on?
