Re: Won't Charge
Only seen it work once on a cart at the lake...most off the time the OBC is bad. This may not even be the problem with floorins. Any time I have had a charger act like he is describing its a loose cable or bad connection.

Re: Won't Charge
Can you try a different charger or try your charger on a different cart?
Make sure contacts in charge receptacle and plug are clean. HIH |

Re: 1995 Club car ds won't Charge
did you put electrolyte in your batteries? Ive had customers do this, and it confuses the batteries making them think they are charged, when they are not... Also, if your batts are dry this symptom can occur... But, if you computer is clicking on, usually its good...... and if your charger clicks on usually its good... so its a wire, connection, or battery problem (typically)

Re: 1995 Club car ds won't Charge
okay so I went thru and checked all the ends tight and clean.
replaced the recep. and still doing the same thing. The car is cursed I think it wants to be a ezgo When charger kicks on the red light goes off. When charger kicks off it comes on.Then will stay on solid. Then I will unplug charger and forward the cart and sometimes it will just flash on and off thensolid then flash again. Then replug charger in and will do normal runs for 20 seconds then shut off. Then start again and go for another 30-45 sec then shut off and stay off.And light will do what ever it feels like. Can the obc be bad?Its new from dealer. All wires replaced and look as if going in correct places.Any ideas?? |

Re: 1995 Club car ds won't Charge
ok, obc is new from dealer, that raises a flag for me....... is it possible that you reversed the wire going through the OBC? the plastic part of the obc needs to face the front of the car, and the wire on that side must go to battery - and the wire coming out the metal side must go to controller b-
if you reverse it, it will cause the symptoms you are mentioning....... |
