Default Little help

Im looking for my first cart. Want to haul wood and 4 adults around my cabin in the mountains. Ill need something with good torque and would like to get up to 30 mph with mods. Any years or motors to look for to achieve this or would it be better to find one with a blown motor and do a swap?

Sustained 30 MPH means a lot of RPM. Call Don Plowman (vender on here) or go "real" big block,(vanguard). 23/24 MPH is doable with a stock motor.

Since you started this thread under yamaha gas, can we assume you specifically want a yamaha? if so then I would get a g22 or newer. Stock motor is a 357cc and plowman's can hook you up and tweaking it. Not sure you can get 30mph out of any stock engine cart, but this will get you the closest. Plan on lifting? Bigger tires will get you closer to your desired speed.

Yes I will be lifting it with 22" tires. Im thinking id be better off putting a bigger motor in a cart. I have a polaris 500 scrambler motor now just wonder I g how hard it would be.
