Default Batteries charging too fast?

I have what I think is a 1997 TXT 36 Volt. I recently purchased four Trojan 125 and two Trojan 105's that are claimed to be refurbished. I went ahead and installed the, cleaned up all the connections and set them to charge on my POWERWISE charger. I want to say about 45mins(or less) later the charger when completely off, as if it were done charging? So I took it around the block a few times for about 10-15mins until it began to get sluggish. I hooked it up again to the charger and yet the same thing happened, the charger went off after about 45mins(or less). Maybe the charger cycles? I don't know. Should I use a 12volt(car charger) to charge tow batteries at a time?
Thank you, looking forward to some answers

Start with a battery evaluation. Assign each battery a # and post the voltage and Specific gravity of each cell in each battery.
This way we can eliminate a battery problem as the source of the trouble.

Gotcha, I just took it out for a spin and I noticed one of the Positive terminals was hot as well as the cable that runs from N to P.?
All the cables from N To P have corrosion from the previous owner, I sanded down the connecting ends very well, maybe the corrosion is far inside the cable?

Yes corrosion spreads up the cable and causes resistance which creates heat and impedes amperage delivery ....

Floating ball hydrometers are worthless. I could GUESS at the numbers better than that thing can measure.
