Re: Regen causes tires to lock
My brake cable came in today, anyone have instruction on how to change it. I know I need to remove the matt to get to the linkage, how do I remove the old cable and then reinstall.

Re: Regen causes tires to lock
Once you remove the mat, you will see a cover box for the brake assembly. Once you open it, you will see how to disassemble.

Re: Regen causes tires to lock
I installed a new passenger side brake cable to the driver's side and it worked great, no more brake pedal pulse and the regen lock up is almost gone. I tightened all the U bolts as tight as I could get them.
I will tell ya if you dont have the tool needed to get the brake cable out of the frame, what a pain in the @$$. That took almost an hour everything else to 25 min. |
