g1 flooding
hey everyone new to site. i am working on an old 2-stroke for a friend of mine. just had it bored and put a new piston in. i am not real sure what year it is the serial number on the back has been welded over. i have the one on the engine i think it is an 84. now the problem it floods really bad won't even begin to hit but if you take the carb off so it is not getting any fuel it will fire up for a few seconds. the carb looks new float looks to be ok also any help is appreciated. thanks brian

Sounds to me like the float is sticking open or out of adjustment. |
