Re: Well, 36v to 48 volt conversion coming soon now
All I can say is wow what a difference from what it was to what it is now. I deceided not to wait for the back up lights and put it all together tonight and went on a little cruise in my neighborhood at 2am. You better watch out because my cart could give you wiplash with the torque it has on take-off. I still have to install the radio unit in the roof tomorrow, so I will post pics tomorrow. Since I am having it painted should I have them cut an access hole in the back to easy access the controller?
Thanks Again Scottyb for all the info and the parts that made a night and day diffference in my cart! |

Re: Well, 36v to 48 volt conversion coming soon now
Just bought my first electric and she's a 36 volt. Bout 10mph is top speed according to GPS. Bout how fast ya figure yours is after the swap? Anyone else feel free to tell me about how fast a 48 volt should be. Thanks.

When I raised mine I had to cut 4" off the top rails, (Stand offs), ( Brackets), to get it in my shed .Joe100

Re: Well, 36v to 48 volt conversion coming soon now
A great read from y'all. Great job Gator! I just purchased a 89 Club Car DS. Gotta love those aluminum frames? My conversion is starting next week. I'm making my list and will contact THE MAN ScottyB soon.
Gator, did you buy a combo package or purchased the items individually? I think I'm leaning more towards C54.. Rear Seat, Lift, Big Tires..ect |
