Default Brake & Turn Signal Hook Up

I have a 2001 Yamaha G-20 with a Stretch Plastics headlight kit with led's and want to hook up brake lights and turn signals to make it street legal. I have the brake light switch like the one in the sticky and also have a 2 post flasher. I plan on using a 3 way toggle switch for the turn signals.
I have a good friend with an electrical background thats going to help me do the wiring But I could use a diagram of how to hook them both up so when the brakes are on the signal's will flash and so on. Please take into consideration my ignorance on this subject, I will post a pic of the light kit I have maybe that will help. I don't mind hand drawn or factory drawing's if someone can help.
