Default Battery Life

If I charge my cart every time I use it and keep it on the charger through the winter and I check the water level once a month through the summer and every other month through the winter. What am I looking at for battery life, min and max?

Opinions and experience equally welcome.

Thanks

Tom

Depends on batteries, good trojans or us bats probably 5 years, with 6 or 8 volts, not 12's

Cheaper brands usually last between 3-4 years...Trojans and equalls usually last 4-6 years(but I've seen them go for as much as ...like the others have stated a lot of variables but these are general numbers I give my customers...

I have some 04s and 05s in my '96 DS, they are Trojan 8 volt.

Got the Cart late Spring from a big dealer. His Mechanic load tested them at 70 minutes, he said that was 70 minutes at wide open.

Have yet to see the low batt light come on, even when the kids are on it for hours. So guess some can last for 8 years eh?

There are alot of variables. Mose claim three years of service for 12v and I just replaced mine which were 7 years old... Treat your batteries right and they return the favor..
