Default Can I reset my OBC or not

Hello, I want to reset my OBC in a 2011 Presedent i2
I started the process and the reverse buzzer never sounded as per the instructions. So I stopped the process.
I read somewhere in this forum that it is written somewhere in the manual which club car YEARs can even be reset.
Can you tell where it says that?
Can someone who know what they are doing please tell me if the OBC of a 2011 car can be reset or not?
If it can then, is it ok NOT to get to the reverse buzzing stage?
Should I wait 5 minutes when there's no buzzing sound or 1 hour?

Thank you

With these late model OBC vehicles, disconnecting the pack for at least ten minutes resets the OBC. That's all you have to do.

We really need to update the sticky with this info.

Thank you for your quick response. I am a not familiar with golf carts ....I have a 48 volt (6- 8 volt) so when you say "disconnecting the pack" do you mean put it in "Tow" then remove the negative main from battery 6 AND also remove positive main(battery 1)?
or do I only need to remove negative from battery 6?
I simply keep ignition off and in tow mode and just wait 10 minutes?

Yep... Key Switch OFF, Switch to TOW, Disconnect the Main Negative, Wait least 10 minutes and reverse the process...

I never understood how the reverse buzzer could operate if the battery pack was disconnected.

Taking a WAG here and saying perhaps its the capacitors in the controller discharging?

Exactly, that's what it is. But sepex carts just need the pack disconnected for roughly 10 minutes to reset OBC.

Before any tests or repairs are performed, the capacitors inside the controller must be
discharged. The capacitors will normally self-discharge after the battery cables are
disconnected, however, to ensure the capacitors are discharged place the forward/reverse
rocker switch in reverse and listen for the reverse buzzer.
- if the reverse buzzer does not sound, after the battery cables are disconnected, the
capacitors are discharged.
- if the reverse buzzer sounds, turn the key switch to the on position and depress the
accelerator pedal until the buzzer can no longer be heard.
