Re: club car won't move
Lots of em
First bright Idea I got is pull out the DVM and give us a pack voltage reading. 2nd bright idea I got is listen for a click coming from the solenoid when you try to go... are you getting a solenoid click? What is the pack voltage? |

.......we got a lot of bright ideas!
Bucking carts are usually caused by weak batteries or a bad connection in the power source ... |

What is the pack voltage? ok what's DVM? solenoid...never heard that, isn't that with gas cars (carts)? never have heard a click... but i can turn the old ign switch and the new one all day long and the car acts like i don't have fresh new batteries eggin to rip! wonder if there's a bad wire somewhere or somehow one got disconnected...wish i had the time to hang out a couple of hours to explore (and come to the computer to ck responses) to figure this dang thing out! my cart is a 2006 with a modifyed motor put in a year ago...for a bit more spunk... frustrating...but i'm determined to get-r-dun |

Re: club car won't move
There are no silver bullets for these type of problems.... You should print out the wiring diagram for your cart found in the stickies and familiarize yourself with the working components of the cart or resign yourself to calling an expert.
A DVM is a digital voltmeter. |

Re: club car won't move
You will need the reading for every battery and entire pack ( first battery to last battery) this will be in the 50v+/- range.

Re: club car won't move
Actually ........ I don't think he has told us if this is a 36 or a 48 volt cart?
Either way 24v if that is a correct reading, is the reason she is bucking and not running. We need more info to help on this one. |

Re: club car won't move
You need to check each battery and entire pack. Pack should be 50v+/-. This is probably the positive where the charger lead is installed and the negative coming from the controller.
