I use the knees under the wheel method with good results but when I screw the nut on the shaft I put it flush with the top of the shaft and use a 1 1/2" X 4" piece of brass round stock on top and hit that.
On only one I had to use a sawzall and cut all of the plastic away from the hub and then heat it with a torch to get it off. Then it was cheaper to get an adaptor and aftermarket wheel from ebay instead of oem to replace it. |

yeah, I tried that and I even had a steering wheel remover which just ended up pulling the bolts through the plastic as I tightened the puller. Hadn't used my sawzall in a while so that was fun...and quick. Going to cut it off tomorrow once and for all.
