Re: Hesitation on 2 stroke
I'm kinda stumped but that really looks like an oil seal witch could be an issue in itself I would try starting a new thread with that picture and see if anyone else knows since no one seems to be chiming in here. I think we need to figure out what that is then proceed with the current delema

Re: Hesitation on 2 stroke
I believe it's the clutch side crankshaft seal by what I have researched. My question is.....I believe the fuel pump works off the vacuum generated by the motor. Would having this seal work it's way out cause a vacuum loss for the fuel pump ?
Thanks |

Re: Hesitation on 2 stroke
Well. Pushed the seal back in. No change !
Overhauled fuel pump with a repair kit. Still no change ! This is getting utterly frustrating. For me and you. Lol |

Re: Hesitation on 2 stroke
Thanks man. I do appreciate all your help. I just feel sorry for my boy. I got it for him for Christmas and he's only had a couple of weeks with it without messing up.
Thanks again and good luck with your project. |

Re: Hesitation on 2 stroke
Well, I hate to speak too soon but i have a feeling we cracked it.
I checked the points that I paid $100 to have put in and it looked like the gap was a little tight. I opened them up a little, took it around the block and hey, no hesitation/splutter. Can't believe it was that all this time. I just had too much faith in a guys work. Thanks for hanging in there with me. All the best. |
